[SOLVED] 2 Soundcards

Hi

I have 2 soundcards installed. First one is the onboard sound. Second one is a Asus Xonar U1 USB soundcard.

May anyone direct me how to "switch" between both cards?

I know that usually the application itself (eg. VLV or mixxx) is offering this - but mine (Guayadeque) currently don't do so. In Ubuntu i had seen a "system"-application to select the current output device.

Re: [SOLVED] 2 Soundcards

right click the speaker in the bottom right hand corner, select mixer, when the page opens up you should see Sound Card: and then a drop down, you can select different sound cards from here, let me know if this worked.

@crashOvrRide22
Thx. for your message. Yes - of course i have seen the mixer and the appropiate dropdown menues ... i just couldn't "activate" or "deactivate" one or the other device because of so many irritating "switches" which i really don't understand by now. For the USB Advanced Audio Device i have 3 switches - IEC958 In, Digital & Loudness. For the HDA Intel i have 3 as well - Headphone, Speaker & Front. But anyway - in my favourite music player Guayadeque is now a switch as well to select the appropriate sound device....
