Greetings all,
Our final screenshot thread for the year. I haven't been around much in recent months but I did regularly check in on these threads. My thanks to bobobex for keeping things going in my absence.
This is my favourite thread to maintain and I look forward to seeing all your end of year efforts.
cheers
omns

As always, please continue to use thumbnails linking to the larger image to help those of us with slow connections. An example of the code needed is below. Most image hosting sites will automatically generate this for you as well.

I'll hope to see some nice fireworks-related wallpapers with new year coming
Going to try and find my own fireworks pictures (or at least that have some weird light in them.)
Meh. Interested for a Dropbox alternative? Go to https://launchpad.net/tart

For a change of pace . . . this is Ultimate Edition 2.8 OS.
Ultimate 2.8 (based off Ubutnu 10.10) / Gnome / x64
I'm not big on either Ubuntu or Gnome (so this won't stay on my PC for long) . . . but, it does come with every App/Program you could ever want, use or need.

@omns - I don't know if you realized this but the image you normally put in the first post is no longer working since you deleted your dA account.
Note: ** Please read before posting **
BTW if you wish to contact me, send me an e-mail instead of a PM.

This is my setup as for now.
Conky can be found in the Conky topic at the Tips & Tricks section and the tint2 is based on aiBo's work (thanks again for getting the svn607 version to work, mate!)
Need more info? Just ask!

hmmm, that's strange. I thought that might happen but I see it at my end, even on newly setup machines with a fresh cache. In any case I've hosted it elsewhere and have fixed the first post. Thanks for letting me know
