Hi all! I'd first of all like to thank Philip for his great work on #! I've been using it from the beginning, tried to come back to Hardy or OpenSuse recently, but I remain a big fan of #!, which is the fastest and the most reliable distro I've ever used.

That being said, I'd like to ask how to define the preferred applications. In particular, I'd like to make Epiphany my default browser, in place of Firefox, so that for example Epiphany would be launched when clicking on a link in the mail client. I guess xfce-setting-show could be an answer to my question, but changing the default application doesn't have any effect. I'd be pleased to know there's some editable file enabling this, but I can't find it.

Thanks to all, and good afternoon from Brussels, Belgium.

    Hi lounge

First off, thank you for your kind words, I am glad you are enjoying the distribution :)

Regarding the preferred applications, you could try the update-alternatives command. See the man page below for more info.

    Hope this helps :)
