Fair enough.
Thanks for the help all the same and good luck with school.

Sound like a fair trade?
One second before you invite me, let me stalk around for a bit and see if i cant find a solution.
Alright do you know if Google uses an RSS feed of some sort to house the meta data for the songs???
It might be RSS, I honestly do not know.
I have been using a Chrome extension called "Better Music Beta", which is MIT licensed. You might be able to get some useful info out of their github: https://github.com/JaredSartin/Better-Music-Beta.
Wish i could help you, its something that's probably simple to do using Curl, but i don't have Google music xD.
If you think you could do it, I can spare an invite.
Sound like a fair trade?
Good morning, Crunchbangers. I'm not sure if this merits a separate thread or not, so I figured I would start here.
Recently, I was fortunate enough to receive a Google Music Beta invite. By virtue of the fact that this service will allow me to finally ditch my iPod Touch (and all of the Apple-related headache that goes with it), I instantly became a fan and now use only Google Music. The only problem? My now useless conkyClementine script.
And so that brings me to the point of this post: Has anyone attempted to write a script which would get "Now Playing" song info and album art from Google Music and put it into Conky?
It seems like it would be easy enough, given adequate knowledge. I took a look at the Google Music Player page source and quickly determined that I lack such knowledge.
Has anyone else tried it or looked into it? I've scoured Google but haven't found anything as of yet.
