If you want to know what other time variables you can use, look here:

Thanks for your replies. It seems to work just fine, with my USB notebook cooler unplug during boot up.  Yes, it does have a off/on switch. I'll try that next. It's a Targus USB notebook cooler.

I just had random freezes after boot-up. It won't get on the Internet & I can't open the terminal without it freezing up on me. So I have to do a reboot. This started happening after I install Dropbox. That's why I figure it was Dropbox at first. So I uninstall Dropbox - but it still was happening random freezes.

I just started to use my USB notebook cooler. So, I thought could it be the notebook cooler? What the heck, lets see. Well, then it started to boot right without any freezes. So, I assume the USB notebook cooler was the problem. Until someone says other wise.

Thanks for the replies.

When I boot into #!Crunchbang with my USB notebook cooler on. I sometimes have any app I open up freeze up. So I reboot, that sometime fixes the problem. The errors I only can find out is something to do with my DMI & PID.

Then I experiment a few things. First I thought it might having something do with the dropbox app. So I remove it. Still didn't fix the problem. So now I unplug my USB notebook cooler, then boot into #!. Everything is just fine now. I replug my USB notebook cooler after booting into #!.

So I assume, when the USB device (notebook cooler) is on while booting into #!. It mess things up during the boot up. Something about no DMI support must use PID.

Is there a fix or is it just a big fluke?

Openbox:

Add the following lines to the <applications> section in your rc.xml:

  <application name="bashrun">
    <decor>no</decor>
    <focus>yes</focus>
    <skip_pager>yes</skip_pager>
    <layer>above</layer>
    <desktop>all</desktop>
  </application>

I notice your script doesn't have <desktop>all</desktop> May, be that's what is missing.

Is this a web app or a app running on your computer?

Are you just asking about the text box color(appearance). And maybe the appearance of the cursor shape as a white box?

Can't give you a good answer until I'm sure what app & what changes you really like to have. It seems to me its just appearance setting you would have to know to get the changes you like to have.

Thanks for the welcome mat. I'm using #!CrunchBang 10 OpenBox 64bit. Just adjust my menu to auto, like to be able to see everything I install in #!. Been using Linux since July 2003, so I'm not a green horn when it comes to Linux.

It takes sometime to get use to it. The surroundings is different, but it's still Linux. Got #!Crunchbang 10 running they way I like. A tweak here & a tweak there, and everything is running great.

It's just you have to figure out where to go in #!. And figure out what to do after you know where to go. Got my apps I like for autostart, got my keyboard map, got my sound going, got the time right, got my new wallpaper up. Got some games install.

Like any Linux Distro - Linux Rocks!
