CrunchBang Linux

Hello,

The webcam works while using Skype on my EEE PC 701G. however, the webcam does not work when I try to stream with Justin.tv. i've tried ubuntu, xubuntu, and crunchbang, and streaming on justin.tv does not work. when i login and then broadcast, the webcam light turns on and i see an image temporarily - then the image freezes, and then the webcam light turns off.  i've tried to lower the resolution (capture) settings but still no luck.

does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?
