Thanks,
just a dumb question, how do I mark this thread as [SOLVED],
can't find any "Rename Thread" or "Mark as Solved" button.
Edit: Found it, anyway thanks
Thanks all!
The Oracle Java works perfectly fine,
the problem was in video drivers.
I updated my Nvidia driver and now it seems fine.
Anyway thank you for your support!
@quinnuendo: I've installed Oracle JDK manually, in the place of OpenJDK, I don't see the difference but I wanted a compiler
@ohnonot: Thanks god I didn't have to dig in Java files...
@twoion: Good to know, thank you, but I didn't use them at once - but at least I learned something
I'm sorry I didn't try to update my video drivers earlier, I didn't think it was related to an ugly font.
Tried adding these to ~/.bashrc (not at once):
export _JAVA_OPTIONS='-Dawt.useSystemAAFontSettings=lcd'
export _JAVA_OPTIONS='-Dswing.defaultlaf=com.sun.java.swing.plaf.gtk.GTKLookAndFeel'
export JAVA_FONTS=/usr/share/fonts/TTFAlso my ~/.fonts.conf is configured for a pretty font (antialiasing on, hinting on)
bump
Tried, doesn't change anything.
Any other ideas?
