I ran UNetbootin using Linux Mint on a different computer. I haven't used Windows in ages and the laptop where I'm trying to install #! is also Windows free. I never had any problem before, but I will try dd.
Hello.
I'm trying to install #! on a Acer Aspire 3620.
I used UNetbootin to mount the iso on a USB flash drive. The installation process goes smoothly until the actual installation starts (after creating the partitions). All of a sudden the whole thing stops and I get the following error:

Fatal server error:
Server is already active for display 0
If this server is no longer running, remove /tmp/.X0-lock and start again.
Please consult the The X.Org Foundation support at http://wiki.x.org
for help.
The system is going down NOW!
Sent SIGTERM to all processes
Sent SIGKILL to all processes
Requesting system poweroffIf I restart the computer, it just doesn't respond.
The live session works, just in case.
