Have you succeeded? I'm struggling with my Macbook air currently. I used to dual boot Ubuntu. #! boots off live usb but the installed version kernel panics and drops to command shell.
Hi,
I used to dual boot my 2013 Macbook air with Ubuntu which I recently replaced with #! Waldorf. I have been using reFind. I have managed to get #! to appear in the boot menu (as Debian) and it begins to boot correctly, however, the kernel soon panics producing a message: 'applesmc : read art fail'. It then drops to a command line shell. Running #! off the live usb works perfectly well though.
Any help on offer?
