Thanks Wufu.
I have checked the username and password are being entered correctly.
I have used ctrl/alt/F1 to confirm
The password I use is the same as I use on my #! netbook so also should be well in terms of SliM compatibility.

Hi
I have made a fresh install of #! 64 and when I have re-booted I cannot get past the log in screen.
I boot up my PC and reach the log in screen
I enter my user name and password
The log in screen now returns and I am asked to enter my user name again
This process will repeat until I power off the PC.
Appreciate any advise anyone can offer, thank you.
