I understand the method,
I reinstalled, so we will only find out if it wasn't.
Even though I believe my train of thought contained useful hints into the problem, I removed it.
My computer freezes at random, and puts lines up and down the display, I on average can not keep my system up for more than 24 hours without the issue.

Also.. I hurt my finger using a hammer today
I'm stuck between not knowing or caring and reinstalling the system.
someone stole my usb drives...
isn't there a command to re initiate the install script from a live system
or a method to install on a second harddrive from a live system..
I have no cd's, no usb's and net installing isn't an option even I find some, unless I can install and run easytether from an android.
I sincerely want my system as light as damn small linux. I recall running htop in the past and seeing much less processes running. I like using the command line more than x but like having it(as basic as nothing but right clicking into a definable menu) when I need it.
I prefer a fresh install, the lightest possible, but will fix it if I cannot.
Suggestions appreciated.
