Ok, thanks for putting me on the right path. Thats really all I needed at this point any way.

Im having trouble with a crunchbang install. Installation goes perfect, but once I boot into the OS, it just displays a static picture of a bunch of colors in a vertical stripe pattern or just random colors all over the place. The hardware is AMD x4 955 CPU, AMD 6790 gpu, Samsung 840 ssd. I have Windows 8 on separate partition. This same machine recently ran Debian Wheezy just fine. Is this an openbox issue?
