Thanks. I asked because I come from Ubuntu, and before that, Puppy (would be fun to try the new Simplicity linux, when will it be based on Quirky?). In both cases, but especially Puppy, I learned to rely on the repository, .deb files more often than not did not work. Being a DOS/Windows refugee, dependencies is the one aspect of Linux that is most perplexing to me.

Can someone tell me, do I just use the .deb available from the Dropbox site, or do I need to find it in a crunchbang repository ?
