Searching in geany for "error" is tedious
what did you do to find the not installed package so fast?

I am running into the same issues as here:
http://crunchbang.org/forums/viewtopic.php?id=30676
Instead of resurecting an old solved topic I thought I would start a new one.
Can someone explain what JahPickney did to figure out the correct packages?
I too am getting:
checking X11/X.h usability... yes
checking X11/X.h presence... yes
checking for X11/X.h... yes
configure: error: Software Xlib dependencies not found

Ok so I updated all installed packages via the sypnatic package manager.
Then wine installed fine after a reboot.
I'm(32bit)
Can I get some help finding a wireless driver?

I installed crunchbang a few days ago offline.
now when i try to run cb-welcome i get:

jordan@crunchbang:~$ sudo cb-welcome
[sudo] password for jordan:
mkdir: cannot create directory `/home/root/.config/crunchbang': No such file or directory
touch: cannot touch `/home/root/.config/crunchbang/cb-welcome': No such file or directory
Error: must be a member of the sudo group to run this script.
jordan@crunchbang:~$

Also I installed it on a toshiba portege 3505
and do not have any wireless drivers installed.

In addition I need help installing wine
It is not in the Synaptic Package Manager and running apt-get install wine
as root does not install it says I'm missing a bunch of dependancies.

Any help?
