No recent or any drops to my knowledge.  It was happening more frequently when moved, but has happened just "for the sake" of it.  I hope it is just a little issue too, specifically why I figured if someone in the community had experienced it they could have already fixed their issue.

Yeah, just straight from functioning to off.  No type of shutdown processing.

It happens while on the cord or just running from the battery too.

I recently cleared the fan area, but I never have seen the laptop getting to hot.  Unless the sensation in my legs is completely gone, the laptop is cool enough to have on my legs without being uncomfortable.  I also added a line into my conky to display temps, never gets too hot on there either.

Hello, I am extremely new to this whole thing and have read the "Before posting" section to be sure I am not bungling this up too much.   smile

I run Waldorf 11, updated all my packages to the most recent versions, on a Toshiba Satellite S855D-S5120.  I have not modified the hardware in anyway or attempted to replace anything.  All I have done, as to date, is try to make sense of my dmesg and attempt to have crunchbang recognize the Graphics Card.  I do have the most recent dmesg log from a fresh session, after one of the computers random turn offs.

Any help would be outrageously appreciated, if you post here I will send you the pastebin of the dmesg.  I think a friend warned me about just posting my complete dmesg log, so I am not sure if I should just link the pastebin here.
