Update: I installed wicd and restarted my wireless router. Now I can connect to my home network. I suspect that my problem is in the interaction of my router and network manager. I hope I don't see a repeat of this problem while using wicd.
I'm having the same problem as airship. My Asus EEEPC 1000 wireless successfully connects to my WPA protected wireless network. After several days, i'll turn my netbook on and have to reenter the wireless password, although it is supposed to be stored in the keyring. Usually, rebooting after re-entering the password works to get me connected.
However, the past week I haven't been able to connect to my wireless network. I can connect to my neighbor's unprotected network, though.
I am very happy with CrunchEEE other than this problem. I'm going to try the alternative program to Network Manager documented here: http://crunchbanglinux.org/forums/topic … k-manager/
I hope that works. Are there patches that can fix this problem with network manager?
