Nice tutorial.

A couple of things on the AAO110L.
For the fan section, the scerfand script needs a little tweak otherwise the computer just shuts down like a minute after running acerfand.
Simply modify two lines in the acerfand bash script so it looks like this:

case "$BIOS_VERSION" in
   "${BIOS_VERSION_3309}")
      #change: handle 3309 seperate 0xAF -> [b]0x21[/b]
      R_FAN=55
      R_TEMP=58
      FAN_CMD_OFF=21
      FAN_CMD_AUTO=00
      RAW_FAN_STATE_OFF="[b]0x21[/b]"

And then on the hotkeys section you say modify the /usr/share/hotkey-setup/acer.hk
Uhm... I don't even have the hotkey-setup folder..... any ideas?

Hi,

I'm trying to get mail-notification to work... it does but if I mark all email as read (the icon goes away from the tray) and then a new email comes in, the application crashes. If I run it from command the error just says 'Segmentation Fault'.

I like mail-notification because it also has IMAP support which I need.
