arpinux,
That helped, thank you! I had to change own_window to no, and it seems I can only have these settings on one of my two conkys. That makes sense though, I suppose.
My right click works over conky with these settings:
own_window no
own_window_transparent yes
own_window_type desktop
I am relatively new to Linux. I acquired Linux with my Dell Mini about a year ago. I have become proficient enough in my limited time that I am able to figure most stuff out with the help of a little internet research.
This is a problem I can't figure out:
The right click menu does not work over conky. I recently upgraded the newest conky 1.7.1.1, and for a short while after the fact the right click menu did work while the mouse pointer was over conky. Now it's back to it's normal self: it flashes and goes away when I right click over conky.
What's the deal?
Also, HI! I was searching for a decent, light distro for months. I have a rather large stack of Live CDs as a result. As a newbie and a previous Ubuntu user, I was attracted to Crunchbang for familiarity's sake. These forums are full of praise, questions, and tweaks; not very often do I see and complaints about Crunchbang. In short: This is really a top-notch distro!
Easy to edit for a newbie, but not as kindergarten as Ubuntu.
