ubuntu and #! is base on Debian so i guess this post might help:

in that post, it state that to get it working, you need to install a driver call sdricoh_cs
search for it using synaptic (System –> Package Manager) but if you can't find it,
you can always bulid it from source from here the files here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/sdricohcs/
after countless of error from trying to register, it final works
anyway, when i google xkbset stop working periodically, this post appear as the first link, and after more searching, i found out why it happen, so i am replying (even though this post is old) so that any future user on any linux (i am using fedora
) is using this and wondering why it stop working periodically (and found this post like i have) would know what to do to fix it
it seem that the xkbset has some kind of timeout, so after sometime, it would stop by itself, so to stop it from stopping, we disable (turn off) the timeout by doing the code below after doing xkbset m
