CrunchBang Linux

youtube and other flash media run smooth on xp but on #! it's shakey it even seems to animate my pages slower like when i scroll. can i fix this? not a huge prob tried re installing flash and updating sound is smooth but images are freezy. also sometimes i experience slow internet when my mac doesn't skip a beat. its a pretty fresh install so im hoping these r just the initial kinks that are easly ironed out.
