Not really, but i'm getting closer:
1) If you're using a kernel < 3.10 then installing the fglrx driver might help. It did in my case but i lost access to the consoles. You could try.

"Save to ram" (=standby) works but it's impossible to reawake the machine. I hear something like an attempt to restart, fan is turning on but going down immediately, the light of hd write/read control flickers for a while but furthermore nothing happens. I have to hard turn off and reboot the machine (this is identically the same what happens when i do: Right-click > Exit > Standby).
