#1 Re: Help & Support (Testing/Unstable) » Please help with installing AMD video drivers? :) [SOLVED] » 2013-08-16 09:57:18

Oh wow, everything works now. Thanks to Scatweasel's instructions! Running MC now with 100/140FPS. So great.
Thanks to everyone who helped me in this, I just can't say how much I love this community :D
Marking as solved.

EDIT: Steam fails to run after install, it is saying that it is missing 32-bit libraries: libGL.so.1.
Any help? So far I've only seen solutions nVidia cards.

EDIT2: Fixed it by running the command: sudo apt-get install libgl1-fglrx-glx:i386
Thank you for all your support!~

Hi all,
I am new to the whole Linux scene, and I would love it if someone could help me install my AMD video drivers.
The reason why I am asking this is when I used to run Ubuntu and tried most of the ways of installing, but all failed (System blank screens etc etc.. lots of reinstalls.). I just started using Crunchbang, and I got WIFI, sound and all running fine, fortunatly.
I have a AMD Radeon HD 7770 as the official AMD site states that the 7000 series is supported.
Would love some help on this,
thanks in advance :)
