Yeah, I wasn't really paying attention when I installed it. The fact that all but one of the previously installed icon themes didn't work concerned me more, and I simply associated all further problems with that. But whatever.

I searched but couldn't really find anything, so I'm sorry if this is redundant. Also, this is the first time I've used OpenBox and don't really have much of a clue as to what I'm doing.
Basically, I installed an icon theme by extracting it to ~/.icons and /usr/share/icons, and also trying to do it through the install button in the appearance settings, but while the name shows up, the icons are all the same as default. All of the other icon themes except for Tango are the same.
