A reboot sorted it though. I must have already installed the correct driver but never modprobed it.

I've just done a fresh install on my Aspire One 522 with BM4313 card and I can't get it to work either.

Sorry my mistake it is Waldorf I installed. I got it directly from the download link I posted above.
I'm brand new to Crunchbang. I've installed the latest 64bit version from http://crunchbang.org/download/
Installation went well, but I don't have wifi working. Odd as it works out of the box in whole bunch of other distros. Anyway, I've done a search and found a few threads about this card, but none of the solutions have worked for me as yet.
The card is just not detected at all.
iwconfig shows only eth0 and lo.
Can anyone help with this?
