Happy Saturday everyone. Ew, I am getting around to setting up smxi and was following your link guide above. When I reached the liquorice part, I got and apt-get error 100. Not sure where to go from here.

Thanks in advance for any help with this guys. I would really like to get the Nvidia drivers installed on Crunchbang due to the demands this 30 inch cinema  display is putting on my GTX 460; the os driver just isn't cutting it.

I found this easy guide for you. It`s from Linux Mint, but it should be the same. Just replace the location folder with your location, and the iso-name with the name of your iso. http://mintnext.blogspot.no/2012/10/how … grity.html

Thanks Ew, I'm going to figure out how to do the md5sum check of my crunchbang iso disk.... i looked for how to do that for about an hour yesterday with no luck, but I have to learn how to navigate to files on my sr0 drive from terminal and get a better grasp on filesystem navigation by terminal in general (lot's of good info online for that, I've just got to put the study time into it). Thanks again.

Thanks guys, I was trying to install the nvidia driver, I found all the forum posts on "slim" and "f7" fixes and I couldn't get it going. No worries though.
   Part of me knows I should probably stick with a 'buntu-ish distro, but I have that as the main pc and am really intrigued by the Crunchbang style. Arch linux was too much fruitless time spent on google considering where I'm at right now, but Crunchbang gives me just enough functionality combined with challenge. Linux has taken the place of my gaming time ever since my windows 7 gaming drive died.

I want to thank you all again for your help!

Hey guys, I've been searching the forums for over an hour now and have tried everything to exit tty and get back to my "normal" login screen after pressing ctrl+alt+f1. I've tried ctrl alt backspace, ctrl alt f7 (this gets me a blinking cursor). I've rebooted, but nothing gets me back to my regular gui login screen. Thanks in advance for help.
