#1 Re: Help & Support (Stable) » [Resolved] problems with full-upgrade and purge » 2013-02-20 00:29:20

I got the same Problem.

I just apt-get upgrade,  in this action, it must uninstall smftp, never mind.

But there are allredy some links in the runlevels, and also /etc/init.d/smftp exist, but without any realy bins, because, this is automatically uninstall.  I search a long time, whats happen.

If i search now, in the upgraded System "aptitude search smftp" will not found the package, but i have some links.  hmmmmm

The Fuck wars, it just kills my network-manager to install, so that i don't have network. No Internet!

hmmm

i did this to fix it:

This Command:
locate smfpd | xargs rm; apt-get -f install

This will remove all smpfd shitt out, so apt is free to work.  Somebody needs to do this:  updatedb     first.

Looks like unproper coded uninstall.info

But can make you angry, no other service will be go into the runlevels!
