Yes. You type it in the terminal.
Right after, type:sh install-steam-wheezy.shThe first command downloaded the script, and that second one runs it (at which point it will install Steam).
After Steam is installed, you should be able to type "steam" in terminal to run it.
I ran those wget's via Terminal, every seems like went through without issue.

run now: steam
hint: install world of goo demo to try
try too: steam steam://install/440
crunchbang@crunchbang:~$ steam
bash: steam: command not foundAs you can see when when I try running/launching Steam via Terminal, it fails to run/launch due to following error: command not found
This is my output below.
crunchbang@crunchbang:~$ steam
bash: steam: command not foundI'm running Crunchbang 11 Test/Testing as suggested.
Any help on getting Steam to run/launch would be appreciated.
Use one of the scripts from here (try the Kano one): http://steamcommunity.com/app/221410/di … 928324/#p1
How would I use those wget
I'm guessing just use those via Terminal? Or do I have to use the wget commands some other way?
As for my second, and hopefully last question.
How would I go about installing Firefox Nightly in Crunchbang 11 testing?
Currently downloading crunchbang-11-20121015-i686.iso as I type this.
Oh, and I'll be running Crunch off of persistent usb drive.
This is the image/.iso I downloaded since I have x86 laptop/OS.
crunchbang-10-20120207-i386.iso
I'm not new to Linux, but I am new to Crunchbang.
That said, I'm currently running the Windows 8 Release Preview, it's expired, so until I purchase Windows 8 retail from a local chain store/retailer, I'll continue using Crunchbang for the time being.
Just a few questions before I fire it up and give it a spin.
Will there be a way to mount my Nexus 16GB?
How can I install Steam in Crunchbang?
These are the instructions for installing Steam on Linux
Steam for Linux wiki/install guide
I know the wiki specifically says Ubuntu, but I've dug around and read success stories of users who have been to install Steam on their distro(s): Fedora, Ubuntu, etc
So I'd just like to know if I can install and use Steam on Crunchbang as well.
Also
Two other questions.
Having never used a tiled/tiling WM, which would be best/ideal tiling/tiled WM to use?
