This guide here explains how to enable TRIM and verify that it is working. All you have to do really is open up /etc/fstab and add the "discard" option to the partition you're trying to enable TRIM on.

Also, here is a random question for you.

I've messed up my Tint2 config file pretty bad with experimentation, how would I go about resetting it?

Alright, let me get straight to the point.

I have a Crucial M4, I want to install Crunchbang with my SSD and with TRIM support. The only guides or any information with it I can find is all this complicated edits and changes. Any really simple way to do this? In Windows it's a matter of 1 command prompt, and most of the time it's automatically enabled, you can double check if needed. Can anybody baby me through this? Thanks!

Hey fellow forum members! I just recently installed Crunchbang stable 64bit on my ThinkPad T400. I haven't used a desktop Linux OS in ages, but I use CentOS on my dedicated server and have been for years. I'm pretty curious and need help with a few things. Wondering if you all could help me, looking forward to exploring more!

How would I go about installing a theme? (This theme for example:  https://github.com/vosh/themes/tree/master/vOSH)

How can I show battery percentage, and much time left?
