all i get is an error saying that apt-get can't locate the package "firmware"
so that won't work.

And in reply to Sheng-Chieh, yes i did check the BIOS and the F5 key is the one that controls it. I tried that too.

No matter how many methods I have tried I still can't for the life of me get wireless working on my little netbook. Any help you guys have would be great, thanks in advance!
