#1 Re: Artwork & Screenshots » #! CrunchBang Linux Desktop Screenshots » 2009-01-30 14:09:37

This is my first post here and the first thing i want to do is to congratulate with you all for the splendid work that's #! (i'm using it into my laptop from November and into my netbook from a week) and to be a very nice community that when i have some time i follow smile
The second thing i would like to do is: sorry for my bad spaghetti-english smile i'm not really proud of my english writing skills

So now let's stop talking about my congratulations and i'll post my screenshot of my eeepc #! installation. I really hate the Canonical netbook-launcher, i think it really sucks resource and i think it doesn't center to the necessity of a netbook user (my moot-point smile); i don't like so much to have a normal laptop organization into my eee, it has a really little screen (it's the first 701 edition).

Here are my screenshots smile

My think is that my screen is little so i want to see what i need in the immediate and bigger as possible. So i user adesklets for the clock, xpad for the note, lxpanel for the right icon dock and the same for the desktop chooser and the traybar. When application are hidden they become icon on the desktop thanks to "backstep" a very nice software. I did this because i think that the normal taskbar is too little for my eee, it takes too space and i prefer to use alt+tab (that soon i will substitute pressing the home/super key).

Ok, that's my configuration and all the things i done on my eee smile

The next one is my laptop screenshot (it's a hp pavilion zv6000 i love). It's a normal CrunchBang desktop with a soft wallpaper big_smile
