What is password for the live boot account
I installed the newest crunchbang on my dell inspiron 1501. But when it boots after showing waiting for /dev to be fully populated all I see is a black screen with colored lines going down the screen vertically. When I do a live boot I see these lines untill I shut the computer and it goes to sleep then when I open it I see the locked screen prompt asking me to enter the password. What can I do this to fix my computer.

In ubuntu I can access my crunch bang partition but not the other way around they are on the same hard drive
I just installed flightgear 1.9.1 through synaptic package manager but I want to upgrade it to the newest version 2.8.0 how would i do that. I also installed the bombable add-on how would I upgrade that to the newest version? would i just extract the new version into the program files.
