Maybe your Audio-output is blocked by a hardware switch?:)

Hey guys!
I installed Crunchbang on my netbook a few days ago, and I REALLY like it, but the Fn-keys for volume on my keyboard don`t work! 
Do you have any suggestions to fix this problem?
