#1 Re: Help & Support (Stable) » Openbox alt-tab functionality » 2012-04-11 04:39:13

sorry! my wording might be a bit vague,

m5: it does indeed allow me to switch between all windows, but will not raise windows that are minimized while cycling through. i.e. if I didn't have the alt-tab dialog box (which I would like to do away with,) I wouldn't have any idea what window im switching to.

pvsage: yes! I am in need of a good raise droid capable of raising minimized windows during the alt tab cycle.

I do have raise enabled, but it only does windows that aren't minimized.

does that help more? basically my end goal is to cycle through all open windows and preview/see them/raise them wether they are minimized or not.

Hello!

I'm having difficulty configuring openbox's alt tab function to my liking.

I almost exclusively run things fullscreen, and want to use alt-tab to quickly switch between windows.

I have openbox set to raise windows when I press alt tab but it won't show me windows that are minimized. It will only display one after I select it with alt-tab.

Is there any way to make it show minimized windows as well?

or is there any way to raise all windows? I could then make alt-tab raise all windows as well as cycle between windows.
