Total newcomer to this and linux period. I heard that linux is a very difficult OS to learn but I decided to try it. You can probably tell I'm a Windows user. Anyway, I just dowloaded Crunchbang today and have no idea  what it's about or what to do now that I have it. I want to use it at school also so I put it on my USB drive to break free from the school's clutches. I'm also an avid Photoshop user and Dreamweaver user. Are there any alternatives to said software? I tried Gimp but not feeling it at all.

Another question. I also have an iPod touch and a few iTunes purchased songs that won't play in the VLC player.

Sorry for the long post. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
