Hi Crunchbangers,

I just recently reformatted the HDD on my 1st gen Acer Aspire One Netbook that had Ubuntu 10.04 LTS on it and installed #! Statler.  As I am not used to the Openbox desktop, it did take me a few days to figure my way around.  After about a week I'm modifying my tint2 config files but I'm not quite confident enough in my abilities to modify my Conky config file.

I ditched Windows about 5 years ago for Ubuntu on my previous laptop.  Soon after I installed Ubuntu on my wife's laptop and our desktop computer.  The reason I have come to #! is I absolutely hate Unity!  After installing Ubuntu 11.10, I tried Gnome Shell, Kubuntu, Xubuntu and Lubuntu but ended up reverting to 10.04 LTS.  11.10 is so bloated and resource heavy.  A coworker suggested I give #! a try.  I downloaded and burned the live version to CD and liked it so here I am.

Looking forward to following this forum for help configuring #!.
