I have decided to stop developing CrunchBang. This has not been an easy decision to make and I’ve been putting it off for months. It’s hard to let go of something you love. I’m leaving it behind because I honestly believe that it no longer holds any value...

Hi,
*I know little about *nix. I am a mouse jockey. I am not sure which version of Crunchbang is installed. It was done in June of 2010, I believe (not that it helps too much) . I do not even know if it is x64 or x86. I forgot to check. If you can live with that much ambiguity:
I was trying to configure the Crunchbang box, which is networked. The Dell v715w printer is USB-connected to a Windows 7 box. I tried to configure the CB box to find the printer by means of navigating through the context menu that pops up when you right-click on the desktop. In the networking configuration window, I was able to find the v715w by intuitively clicking around. The printer seems to be online, according to the OS. When I try to print a test page, I get a CUPS error, part of which says:
client-error-document-format-not-supportedAny ideas?
Hey,
I registered to try to help a friend who's NPO uses this distro.
