Stolen cookies; as long as the same type of cookie is for sale there is no statute of limitation of bringing the culprit to justice.

Is the type of cookie that was stolen still for sale?

Cats are great. I read that a large percentage of the human population is infected with a parasite that effectively makes us want to be around the critters. Yes. Many of us are "attracted" to cats. Thankfully, size ratios spare the cats the worst of it. After all, the feeling is unlikely to be mutual. Cats only love themselves and would reproduce with themselves if they could. But they can't, so they go with the closest thing to themselves: other cats.
