Give them what they want. Encourage childish behaviour.
Give them what they need. Make them cry.

I'm so glad I'm not a parent.

Re: make this forum more friendly to newcomers

We've all been there. Getting cocky to fast as new members of a community. Feel your way around, and be a bit humble until you've been accepted as a member that has good intentions. Because, for some reason, people are seeing you as someone with bad intentions, or at least a bad attitude. Perhaps it's a kind of humour, but trust me, not everyone understands humour, ironi, or sarcasm as a way of humour. Actually, quite few get it.

But your worst problem is probably that people think about Monara/Ariya when they read your post. If you don't know what I'm talking about, just know that it is someone on a 7-day ban. You should probably try to distance yourself a little from his style wink

Re: make this forum more friendly to newcomers

@snowpine; thank you for making me google the word "switch" now I am  yikes

@hudson; that day I were in a good mood. Saw that you were a newcomer and just wanted to give you a very small  friendly welcome pat on the shoulder. Nothing else. Since then you have more or less comitted "suicide" for the user hudson here on the forums. It really is up to you now.  smile

Re: make this forum more friendly to newcomers

Many thanks to the mod, who has removed today my message in the thread "Another Way".
Now I know exactly, that I made a mistake with the choice of the forums.  sad
