WiFi Hard blocked

I'm trying to get WiFi working on my System76 laptop, but have run into and issue where the WiFi card is hard blocked by the firmware.

I have tried, with no success:
- Reset BIOS
- rfkill unblock, modprobe -r iwlwifi
- Remove CMOS battery

The laptop has an Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230, which should be well supported by Linux. Is there anything else I can try to get this working?

Hi there rcapote smile

This is just a shot in the dark. I don't have a System76. Have you tried the hardware switch: fn + F11

Re: WiFi Hard blocked

Thanks for the suggestions, but no results. I'll have to see if I can find a live disc that has an older version of the kernel like what that post mentioned about a firmware in 3.13
