I've seen at least a million of these.
When having the proprietary AMD Radeon Drivers installed, it generally knows only the version of Xorg it's on. So when that updates, the AMD drivers become basically useless.
how do I go about fixing that? At this point, we'll need to use the good ol' and totally l33t Command line!
Step 1: You'll want to start out by rebooting. When you Reach GRUB, select the recovery option and press enter.
Step 2: Once you reach the Command Line, execute the following:
assuming no errors occured, congratulations!
Step 3: Reboot
And you should be back to your setup w/ basic(Open Source) Radeon drivers.
If I should add how to install AMD Drivers, just simply request.
