This forum's dark theme is great for the eyes

I'm like writing this post in the middle of the night with the mobile version of the forum in my phone and I've just opened another forum that had a white theme and man my eyes were blinded @.@

But over here my eyes are okay. I love the dark theme it was well thought

Interesting you should bring that up. Ken Starks, who runs an outfit in Austin, Texas, called Reglue that provides Linux boxes for underprivileged kids, is a cancer survivor who has trouble with bright screens and he says the same thing about dark themes. So that's the second time today this has come up.

Oh, and you should pass on the thanks to corenominal, who is responsible for this.

You posted it in the acceptable section mate.
And indeed the dark theme is extremely attractive and preferred to the more general white themes accompanied by general forum designs.

I made a custom Google search in black that I sometimes use at night on a mobile device. Of course, when you click on the results links, you return back to the random brightness web.

i have been using the high contrast chrome extension. it applies a new style sheet to pages that force a dark background. it's "ok". i have been disassembling it trying to write a better version. my github only extension should be out soon

i have made another approach: i have defined a hotkey to invert my whole screen !
the command involved is:

xcalib -i -a

this helps a lot when reading or working at night.
