Router for cable modem (UK)

Hello Everybody,
We with Virgin Media & have just been upgraded to a Superhub and 30 Gb broadband... and lovely it is too.

However the Superhub is not very configurable and it doesn't allow use of the Opendns servers.

Given that the Superhub has a modem only configuration; I was wondering what the best router option would be.

All help gratefully received.

I didn't say it was your fault... I said I was going to blame you.

You should set that thing into bridge-mode/modem-only. A good router is the Linksys WRT54G. You can run DD-WRT on it. An aftermarket open-source firmware that turns that bargain into an ever better deal: an enterprise grade router. This short video gives you a little intro into the awesomeness of DD-WRT.
