Congratulation on making it through 80% (almost) of a century.
I assume you've been a Geek for most of that time. What do you think we missed the boat on, and what do you think we're doing just fine with... flying cars, communication, energy production, etc. For instance, I look at my Nexus4 and can't help but think of Asimov's I, Robot where he talks about "pocket computers."
