Hi,
Its not much of a biggie, but I'd like to remove the bullet/arrows from the submenus in obmenu, or at least know how to.
I've looked at different themes, some with, some without these arrows/bullets. But I cannot distinguish the difference between themerc's that have them, and those that do not.
So does anyone know how to remove them?
I can post my own and another themerc if that helps, or post a picture of arrows/bullets that I mean but expect people already know what I' talking about.
Much appreciated!

I think what I'm looking for is bullet.xbm - and they seem to be located in the theme file rather than themerc. I will have a bash and see if I can remove/change them

Ok, so I have been able to find bullet.xbm files in usr/themes/.... but not for my own theme (waldan), or waldorf. Pretty confusing. Neither are they to be found in .themes.
I don't know where else to look, and how obmenu is using bullet.xbm files when they don't seem to be located in their usual place.
Weirdness. Anyone have any ideas? 8)

Ok simple, I did it. All I had to do was copy a bullet.xbm file into my openbox theme in .themes
That way I am able to remove, or modify the bullets
This helped:

Hey, I found this confusing too.
What I did was find a theme that does not show the submenu bullet. For example, nova pink.
If you go into the nova_pink file in /usr/share/themes/nova_pink/openbox in the openbox folder you will find a bullet.xbm file.
I then copied the bullet.xbm file to the openbox folder of the theme I am trying to modify, i.e. .themes/waldan/openbox
Then
openbox --restart
Hey presto!
Seems you can just modify them that way, choosing the xbm files you like, or removing them through copying an existing xbm file that does not show. I am going to have a look at all the other xbm files later tonight.
