rc.xml & keybindings

Morning All,
In order not to have to keep typing  bits of text like email addresses and after reading a post on the #! forums last night, I have the following in my rc.xml file.

 <keybind key="C-F1">
    <action name="Execute">
      <command>
        xdotool type --clearmodifiers -delay 0 'my@email.address'
      </command>
    </action>
  </keybind>

I have several of these bound to C-F2, F3 & F4...this works smile

I have also remapped my Caps Lock to Ctrl which also works. However, when I execute Ctrl-F1 using Caps Lock, all my Caps get locked & I cannot unlock them without logging out (If I use the Ctrl key this does not happen).

To compound this, I cannot remember how I remapped the Caps Lock key, it certainly isn't by using a ~/.Xmodmap file hmm

Any help, as always, is gratefully received.

Cordially Yours

Simon
