Nothing special.
Or even particularly new.
Except for the kung-fu.
Now I have it....

Been a while since we saw you, ninjitsu-man. How've you been keepin?
>Himster
Lovin' your last couple of scrots. Your irssi config is one of the sexiest around, I have to say. Makes me wanna switch back to it (I'm on weechat now). Orchestra of Bubbles is great. More Apparat than Ellen Allien, I must say.
...and I disagree. Guinness is the nectar of life, man!! (That should also answer your question on how I go about theming my monochrome desktops, btw)
>Aaro
Thanks for the font spec. I was wondering where I'd seen it before. Now I know.
New EvilWM build is running like a dream, man, though your welcome greeting is a tad misplaced since I used Evil long ago when I was relatively new to Linux. It still retains the celebrated position as the only WM/DE that has never, ever crashed on me, not even once.
>Cogburner
Generally don't read much shounen manga here, and I haven't seen Bleach in ages, so it took me a while to figure who Zaraki actually was..... but why would Zaraki be on a harmonica?
>MuZi
Liking your new term colors, mate. Also absolutely love your RoosterMuzi collab scheme on dotshare. I'll make sure to rate and comment later in the day.
>Ivo
Great skull setups, man. I've become a fan, though I'm not quite feeling your font selection.
Regarding EvilWM, there's not much to share considering you can launch it with all options in a single exec command from your ~/.xinitrc. .... I do however have a simple ~/.evilwmrc if you want. Install the latest build from source (or check AUR first if you're on Arch) and read the man pages. I just changed the mod keys, specified fatter borders and changed the default active/fixed/inactive border colors. I'm still not quite sure about the new dock functionality in the newest version, though.
My ~/.evilwmrc
term urxvtc
mask1 mod4
mask2 mod1
altmask shift
fn lime:pixelsize=8
snap 8
bw 2
fg #cccccc
fc #6699cc
bg #999999
#dock dzen2
I also have xbindkeys installed to launch some apps like yaganesh-dmenu and kill evilwm. I'm sure you can sort that bit out yourself.

Actually, I've gone to the dark side. That's weechat you see in the scrot there.

A world without what makes us, us. One without you or me.
A world with no differences, this is the world I see.

Very nice, glad to see some other shots than all those tilers and cli's
I see you're using Wingpanel now too, so you're also following the elementary project. I look forward to their Luna release; their applications are just beautiful. I can't stand using a panel though (and all those indicator applets fail to build at Arch) but nonetheless, it looks great on your setup. Have you tried Marlin and Beatbox too? The only downside with Marlin for me, at the moment, is that it can't create empty files and Beatbox's dependency sqlheavy won't build due to a bug.
If you can't sit by a cozy fire with your code in hand enjoying its simplicity and clarity, it needs more work. --Carlos Torres

I have all the eOS apps installed. Its going to be a great release, they are very focused on what they want. Wingpanel and Slingshot are awesome.
Thanks for the nice words!

Borked my system messing with sid sources so back to square one, squeeze Xfce...
Obviously not as polished as my usual, but not having everything so Garanimals matchy-matchy is a nice change of pace. I'm wondering how long this will stay stable as Hadret has discontinued his repo, meaning I had to install Nautilus Elementary from Launchpad and the dependencies from Ubuntu. Blade Runner wall from a Google image search, fonts are Droid, icons are Gnome Colors Carbon, themes are my own.

That's Faenza Wolfe: http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/ … ent=133366
There's a Debian version too (http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/ … ent=140951), though I just used the regular one.

Thanks
I was thinking the same thing. Lead us to the grays!

Ubuntu 10.10, panel with the classic menu, indicator-appmenu notification area and a clock, docky as a dock at the bottom, font is Sansation size 9, subpixel smoothing, slight hinting. Wallpaper is Calmness, theme and the rest in Lifted. Icons obviously Faenza. Apps are nautilus elementary and cmus in terminator with the green theme.
