awesome stuff guys. i've been absent too long.
i've had more adventures of recent to bother including much more wordage for my screenshot... other than to say... polished n mildly tweaked a piece i made a couple nights ago, n made it my desktop background (and that was hard clearing a couple of desktops for that screenshot.)
~ think ~
i have chosen to commit to bedrocklinux.

@sector11: Oh my [expletive]! ... is that a fleece blanket?!
@aaro: great wallpaper font.
@tbrock: which music player is that?
@sunjack: killer images, love it.

@kbmonkey
tbrock's music player is ncmpcpp, a front-end for mpd.
@Digit
Your wallpaper has got me couchlocked, for all the wrong reasons >_<
@ivo
Nice.
Musca used to be my favorite WM, till I got lazy to tile manually and tag everything. =P
I like the "glassy" effect you've created with the padding/spacing between windows.

@kbmonkey, the font is a gimp's font called "It wasn't me".
@gutterslob, @muzieca, welcome to the evil club . I also recommend xmobar if you want a status bar, looks good and is easy to setup.
@gutterslob, i was glad to find out that a new version of evilwm was just released these days

My Golden Harry Potter Crunchbang Desktop
Excited about seeing the new Harry Potter movie so found this nice wallpaper and thought i would try theme my openbox around it.
Wasn't sure what colour to use at first but i went for two shades of gold, which i think blend quite well overall.
The tint2 is even more minimal this time meaning the desktop at a quick glance just looks like a wallpaper and that's it. Used the ACYL icons as usual to match the icons with the openbox colours.
3rd image is just showing what the desktop looks like with a different wallpaper i found.

Oh right, almost forgot, i took Peppermint OS 2 a spin, and it's staying on my rig now, it is so good.
btw, as promised, this is my current setups: Evilwm + xbindkeys + dmenu = fun!
