OK, I guess the answer is really simple, and probably just in front of me - but I cannot see or find it!
What's the one-dot-symbol on the top left of each window for? When I click it it changes to a cross-pattern, and back with another click - nothing else seems to happen...
I searched this forum, openbox wiki and google with several keywords but couldn't find the answer...

OK - first thing I did in #! was changing the number of desktops to 1 ...

cool, thanks for that question and answer, i had no idea (as i have no idea why i have 2 desktops... i suppose just because i can )
