"What is Waldorf"?

Hi
I have started recently to use Linux in this case a couple of months ago crunchbang. I am quite happy with it neutral . But as I do not get any updates what is this "Waldorf" in relation to the version I am already using...Is it a complete new version??

Waldorf is #! - it is based on Debian Wheezy.  If you check my signature you'll see a link explaining how to get Waldorf to track Debian Wheezy - with all the cool "CrunchBangyness" (sounds good).  And Wheezy is going to be around until May 2018.

Stick around and keep an eye on BunsenLabs - the community driven continuation of #! Waldorf to follow Debian 8 - Jessie, now the stable version of Debian.
