Heya folks,
I would like to change the look of the chrome of the windows. In lxappearance, this is called "Widget". The problem I'm having is that nobody else seems to classify this as a widget and I'm having problems finding themes or information on it.
Does anyone else have an idea of how I might find some themes for this "widget" that lxappearance speaks of?
Thanks for your time!

I use lxappareance and lxappearance-obconf. The first tab is for your gtk theme, the third or so tab is for openbox. All lxappearance-obconf does is integrate obconf into lxappearance. This allowed me to ditch a superfluous menu entry.

Thanks for the reply!
I also use lxa with the obc plugin. To clarify, I'm wondering if there's a way to add more themes to the first tab, called widgets, as none of the current appeal to me.

Those are gtk themes. Pick gtk2 or 3. For 2 be sure you have the proper theme engine installed. You can check out deviant-art for some great looking gtk themes. In fact, damo's IcyBlack is stored there.

Ah, thanks for what to call them!
If I have both engines installed, I can use a theme designed for either?

Right. There are not many engines for gtk3 yet and probably not worth pulling in the depends. GTK2 we usually stick with murrine or pixbuf themes, I think is the preference.
so you might try:
dpkg -l gtk2-engines-murrine
dpkg -l gtk2-engines-pixbuf
There are other engines, such as adwaita, xfce, etc.
do:
apt-cache search gtk2-engines*
to see them all.
I would truthfully not install more than murrine and pixbuf unless you found something you really liked in another engine. @damo can probably point you to some great gtk themes as well. I usually use deviant-art or gnomelook.org. However, I have been rolling my own based off of other folk's work these days.

If you know what sort of theme you're looking for, we might be able to recommend one to you
Otherwise, gnome-look.org and deviantart are indeed good sources!
